Who are you? Tell us more about where you live, what you do, what you like…

My name is Christina but my family and friends call me Tina. I come and live with my husband and dog Hannibal in Austria. I would describe myself as athletic and I also like to try out something new. My hobbies are: hiking, mountaineering, running, horse riding, mountain biking, skiing, ski touring. Lukas (my husband) kindled a great passion in me and that was the mountains. And I can hardly wait until our dog can accompany us on our mountain tours.

Why did you apply to become a Rossignol Women ambassador?

When I saw the call for “we rise” and saw the message behind it, I absolutely wanted to be part of this project. Because with my Instagram account I also want to inspire women in particular and get them excited about the mountains.

What’s your favorite product in our ranges?

I love the Parka Ski Jacket. The jacket looks really stylish and I like it so much that I often wore it on a daily basis.

When you’re not skiing in winter, you’re hiking in summer. What do you like in outdoor sports?

It enables me to switch off from everyday stress and not thin about my work. It feels like a little vacation to me when I’m out in the mountains over the weekend.

You practices free-touring, what do you like in this discipline?

When ski touring, we look for tours that are away from the crowd. By going up we have to earn the turns. This means that we are completely independent and the snack tastes all the better.

What are your favorite places to ski?

Unfortunately, I haven’t had so many opportunities to ty out different ski areas. But I really like Saalbach-Hinterglemm. However, I definitely want to explore the Arlberg area.

Do you have a ski anecdote to share with us?

I don’t have any anecdotes especially for skiing, but as soon as Lukas and I are on the mountain we always say: steep is cool (steil ist geil) That only sounds good in German ;)

Who’s your favorite athlete? Why?

That is a difficult question because there are so many good and personable athletes who are very inspiring. Lindsey Vonn fascinates me because she is a real stand-up woman and did not let her injuries get her down.

What’s your motto in your life?

My motto for life is also my personal hashtag on Instagram.
