Take your foot measurements, then choose the appropriate shoe size:
1. Put a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. 2. Wear the socks you would normally wear in your shoes. 3. Stand on the sheet so that your back is flat against a wall (foot perpendicular to the wall) with your heels glued to the wall. 4. Draw a marker in front of your big toe (the furthest forward of your foot). 5. Measure the length between the edge of the sheet and the marker drawn. It is recommended to do this for both the left and right foot and to take into consideration the longer length. 6. To know your shoe size, take a ruler and measure the distance between the wall and the mark you have drawn. Then simply enter it in the corresponding cell in the "foot length" column. |

Heel fit compromised vs previous model
Good and fairly precise boot overall, but the heel fit is compromised compared to ('21-'22) model. Seemingly due to ditching the gaiter of the previous model. Even if I choose "racing fit" size that only accommodates a thin sock, there is a 5 mm play vertically at the heel. Regardless of how tight the boot is laced. Regardless of the sock chosen.
I realise that the instep is easier without the "gaiter" type sock, but heck, there is the W.C. Skate model that has the same, easy instep suitable for less performance oriented skiers. Why reduce the power transmission capability of the high end boot? All three previous models were better in this respect, at least in my case.
Ankle cuff velcro closure remains the same as in the previous edition. Does it's job, but is nowhere close to a classy solution in a high end boot.
Otherwise a great boot and would deserve close to 5 stars without these handicaps.
