CHOOSING THE RIGHT FIT

Your choice of ski, boot design and size will always be a very personal and subjective decision. Here we have compiled some factors that should be taken into account when deciding on which ski size to choose.

Optimal ski length is determined according to (in order): weight, physical ability, skier height and type of skier (aggressive/non-aggressive). Less aggressive skiers should choose a smaller size, while more aggressive and experienced skiers may want to choose a size up.

How does it work?

- Measure your height: 175 cm
- Define your skiing level: experienced
- Choose your ski type: piste
- Calculate your required ski length: 175 + Experienced (piste) = 175 + [-5.0] = [170, 175] cm

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely incredible ski! I ski primarily in the northeast but sometimes travel west and for the first time have found a ski that can do it all. Phenomenal control in all type of terrain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All mt ripper! If you thought the soul 7s could not get better think again! The new line is stiffer, and has a more progressive flex which gives you better rebound and turn initiation. The added stiffness also helps when navigating the crud and choppy snow too. Great in the back country or inbounds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome All-Around Ski I demoed the Escaper, Sender and Holy Shred at Deer Valley in Utah. After demoing all three I found the Sender to be the best all-around ski. I used them on hard pack and in foot deep powder to get a good feel for the different skis before purchasing the Sender. I ski primarily glades and wanted a ski that wouldn’t wear me out and would be fun to use in any condition. I would highly recommend demoing skis before you buy a pair. I was originally going to buy the Holy Shred since I’ve been skiing on the Rossignol Scratch and the Salomon Czar ski’s for the last decade and was ready to get a new pair of skis. I didn’t end up liking the Holy Shred the way I thought I would and was glad I got to demo them before I purchased them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Ski I skied this ski for the first time last weekend. I have a ski racer background and have been on Rossi skis all my life. This is the best free ride / all mountain ski I have ever skied with Rossi. I was worried about the drastic product change but WOW this skis so well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ski Rossi has made yet! I skied the new Sender at a demo day last Spring and MAN does this thing rip! These guys have had the Soul 7 in their line up for quite some time, and although that ski was incredible, it was time for a change for Rossi. With all the time they took to develop this ski, they absolutely nailed it. 104 in the waist, smooth turning and very powerful, but not demanding. I'd say if you are a Soul 7 person, you will LOVE this ski. You can do everything you could do on the Soul, but it is far more fun. This would also make a solid backcountry ski! I will say, this ski is NOT the Soul - it's smoother, damper and has a lot better edge hold. Get a pair of these before they sell out this Fall - I am sure they'll go quick.
