Great ski for off trail
Bought this to do our local XC trail and at first, when staying on the track, I struggled. As soon as I got into ungroomed trail it was awesome. This is a great off trail, or ungroomed trail ski.

Flimsy bindings
I bought this ski with the Rossignol NNN bindings installed and had them out for 5 skis, each about 5 miles per ski. Today, I was skiing in a few inches of powder with a crusty layer underneath. Going down a slight hill I caught the ski tip on the crust, propelling me forward and breaking the plastic binding. Honestly was not that surprised - I weigh 190lbs and just looking at the very light plastic binding I was not confident it would last. Also the top shell on the ski was showing some serious wear in spite of the skis being relatively new. I decided to upgrade to an Asnes NNN BC setup which hopefully will be more durable.

The Partial Metal Edge is key!
I bought a pair of the Evo OT skis with bindings last winter. I wanted a ski to use when skiing with my dogs on ungroomed trails in Millcreek Canyon in Utah. The trail is groomed once a week and can get very icy near the bottom of the trail. The Evo OT performed above my expectations. I found the ski to have amazing glide and great grip skiing up hill. It was super easy to turn downhill with the partial metal edge and I felt in control all the time… Great Edge hold! I bought a pair of the Rossignol OT X5 boots at the same time and found the skis and boots worked together nicely.
