Ski selection, both model and length, always will be a very personal and subjective decision.  When making your length decision, we have found the following factors should be taken into consideration.

Optimal ski length is typically determined by the following order: weight, ability, height, and aggressiveness.  Less aggressive advancing skiers should error on the shorter size, while more aggressive and accomplished skiers may choose to move up a size.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powder Seeking Missile! Fantastic ski. Really floats in the pow. It's also great in the steeps, turns easy in the trees, holds an edge on the groomers. It really shines in deep powder. Just amazing, feels like it turns automatically.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ski for deep or soft snow I've used these skis in waist deep powder and boot top deep powder. They float so easily and are effortless to turn. They're pretty solid through the crud when things get chopped up. They will carve a bit when the snow is soft, but they're just too wide to grip consistently on anything firm. In the right conditions, these are very fun skis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pow Shredder I demoed the 7's at Deer Valley during the recent powder crush. These skis lived up to the hype. Thanks for the opportunity Rossi!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from super 7 I felt there wasnt enough powder to use correctly and I didn't like that it has so much rocker

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rossi Super 7s Great float, fun ski, felt a little cumbersome (granted it is a very wide ski though), but swing weight seemed more than my personal preference.

I am a woman, 166 cm tall - 130-135 pounds, and an advanced-expert skier.  Lookiing for this ski for powder, backcountry, off-piste and trees.  Not sure if I should go with the 166 or 171.   Have another pair of skis for all mountain.

I am currently riding a set of 2009 S6s and have decided its time to upgrade. I see the super 7 only come in a 180 or 188cm but not sure on length? a demo day isnt an option for me. I am 181cm tall and about 80kg and feel comfortable on my 186cm S6s.

Why choose the SUPER 7 HD

AIR TIP 2.0

AIR TIP2.0 – our new reinforced 3D design is lighter and stronger with a perfectly integrated construction for amplified power, stability, and float. Reduced weight at the extremities concentrates ski mass underfoot, freeing the tips and tails for effortless maneuverability, natural floatation, and playful control in the deepest snow conditions.

FREE VAS

FREE V.A.S. employs visco elastomer through the rocker/camber transition zone to absorb vibrations and reduce tip deflection when skiing through variable snow conditions, increasing comfort, stability, and control.

CARBON ALLOY MATRIX

A new generation of super-fiber, CARBON ALLOY MATRIX delivers high-definition (HD) power, stability, and edge grip while remaining ultra-lightweight. Our unique carbon/basalt diagonal weave combines with linear glass stringers, delivering a balanced flex from tip-to-tail with dynamic mobility, maximum vibration absorption, and titanal-like strength.

SIDEWALL

SIDEWALL constructions feature a layering of core materials (wood, fiberglass, metal, etc.) and full-length vertical sidewalls to deliver optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power.

POWDER ROCKER

Designed for the deepest powder days, our most progressive rocker/camber profile delivers an award-winning balance of confident versatility and effortless float. The blend of longer, lower tip rocker, tapered tail profile, and traditional camber underfoot allows easy steering, instant speed control and the power, energy, and grip to get you back to the lift.

PAULOWNIA WOODCORE - CAM

This high-performance sandwich construction features a lightweight PAULOWNIA wood core, reducing weight by 30% for enhanced agility, maneuverability, and control while CARBON ALLOY MATRIX technology supplies high-definition power, stability, and grip without the additional weight of metal laminates.
