Rossignol is commited to protecting the outdoors by producing eco-designed products that incorporate recycled and sustainability certified materials.

Rossignol apparel featuring PrimaLoft® recycled insulation is manufactured using post-consumer recycled content. The result is an ultralight, packable, and water-resistant insulation that offers premium performance on the mountain.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Plastic bottles are salvaged from landfills.

The bottles are cleaned, shredded and melted into chips.

The chips are transformed into PrimaLoft® insulated fibers.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED INSULATION (PCR)?

Lightweight in nature and designed with packability in mind, PrimaLoft® recyled insulation is your peace-of-mind solution for performance, comfort and environmental responsibility.

It was designed using entirely post-consumer recycled materials to create a high performing, eco-friendly insulation.

Finer-than-cashmere fibers create millions of air-trapping pockets that keep you warm when the temperatures drop.

IS IT CERTIFIED?

Our three types of recycled insulation are certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The GRS is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content. It applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements and labelling.
