Touring skis are designed to be lightweight for easy climbing while still providing stability and control for downhill skiing. How Do I Choose a Touring Ski?

Choosing the right touring ski depends on several factors, including your skiing ability, the type of terrain you plan to explore, and your personal preferences:

Ski Weight: Lighter skis make uphill travel easier, but may sacrifice some stability on the descent. Heavier skis offer better downhill performance but can be more challenging to climb with. Consider the balance that best suits your touring style.
