Take your foot measurements, then choose the appropriate shoe size:
1. Put a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. 2. Wear the socks you would normally wear in your shoes. 3. Stand on the sheet so that your back is flat against a wall (foot perpendicular to the wall) with your heels glued to the wall. 4. Draw a marker in front of your big toe (the furthest forward of your foot). 5. Measure the length between the edge of the sheet and the marker drawn. It is recommended to do this for both the left and right foot and to take into consideration the longer length. 6. To know your shoe size, take a ruler and measure the distance between the wall and the mark you have drawn. Then simply enter it in the corresponding cell in the "foot length" column. |

Fantastic boots... BUT!
My wife bought these boots last year while on a trip to Alberta and BC. We did a couple backcountry tours with the boots while on the trip, and she loved them. It was SUPER cold while we were there (daytime highs in the minus teens, F), and her usually cold feet stayed comfy and warm. They fit well, were very warm, and the cuff and design allowed great control on some relatively difficult backcountry tours. All positives. She used them the rest of the Winter here in WY last year, and went on a few relatively short tours early this season. About midway through the season, we stepped off on a relatively modest route, and less than a mile from the trailhead, the sole of the boot completely separated from the upper. Thankfully, we hadn't gotten too far into the backcountry. A quick trip to a local shop drew some shocked expressions, and the shop owner said she would have to show the boots to the Rossi rep to see if they could even be repaired. The answer was NO. Some back and forth with Rossignol, and it turns out no replacements in my wife's size were available, so Rossignol says they'll get her a new set of boots this coming Fall. So, the boots were absolutely great, for as long as they lasted. The failure mode was surprising, and catastrophic (or at least irreparable). We assume it was relatively uncommon (we've both worn out some much cheaper boots, and they didn't come apart like this), and Rossignol is offering a full replacement, so that's probably okay. While typically you'd say fit and performance in a boot like this are the most important (and they are VERY important), the boot also has to last, and these had less than 100 miles on them and completely came apart, so... To answer the question below, I'd guess we'd only recommend these boots from a performance standpoint with the caveat that the one's she had failed completely after a very short time.
