At 23 years-old, Petra Vlhova (SVK) won three medals in the World Championships: gold in the Giant Slalom, silver in the Combined, and bronze in the Slalom, demonstrating that she was capable of beating the mighty Mikaela Shiffrin. Meanwhile, Henrik Kristoffersen (NOR) won his first World title in the Giant Slalom, and Stefan Hadalin (SLO) took silver in the Combined, as did Michael Matt (AUT) in the Slalom.
