Ski selection, both model and length, always will be a very personal and subjective decision.  When making your length decision, we have found the following factors should be taken into consideration.

Optimal ski length is typically determined by the following order: weight, ability, height, and aggressiveness.  Less aggressive advancing skiers should error on the shorter size, while more aggressive and accomplished skiers may choose to move up a size.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible, forgiving, but stable ski at speeds, in crud, and super in powder I skied on the Rossi E-94 all terrain ski, and found it very forgiving, flexible, and outstanding on groomers, as well as in deep powder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect turner I had a chance to run it for 3 days, new skies from Intersport Rental. When it comes to short agrresive turns I have not had a chance to run more fun giving and reliable piece of equipment. Perfect skis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best skis I ever had!! The skis were just amazing and they were so easy to ride!! Carving was a blast and especially the race was great with those skis! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is an experienced skier and wants to have a ton of fun!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hero elite test I ski fairly aggressive and like quick turns and I found the Hero to do quite well in all areas. No chatter in the 40's, held an edge good, stopped good, and did good in the crud. It was less stiff than the RTM so it didn't have the spring back that the RTM did but as a result it did better in the bumps even though it is not advertised as a bump ski. Overall I thought that the Hero was a great all mountain ski.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great carving Ski I bought these a week ago and rode them one time. In my opinion it`s a amazing ski for carving but I also rode them in the deeper snow. In the deeper snow it`s also so much fun to ride the ski, because of the big tip. I didn´t rode threw a run(I don´t know how to pronounce it. I think of a plugget race ´:D) yet, but I think it will be great. Conclusion: A big thumb up and 5 stars

Questions

What is the main/biggest difference between the Hero Elite ST and the Hero Elite ST TI? Can't seem to find anything differentiating the two besides size/radius options. Thanks

Asked by: Foss
Basically the material used, St-ti is titanium, st is carbon, oh and the price, the best description is from the glisshop web site where I just bought a pair of Hero ST TI: Say goodbye to the legendary Radical series that helped Rossignol build up their notoriety. The manufacturer wipes it all and releases the Hero series as its successor. No more GS or SL skis either, skis now carry ST or LT extensions as for Long Turns or Short Turns.  The Hero ST Elite Carbon shadows the lines of the Titanal version but incorporates carbon instead in order to be less demanding, physically speaking. We're still on a high performance ski that delivers precise turns, strong edge grip and quick edge transitions. It just requires a little less energy to be tamed. Suited for slalom skiers.   What our testers say : Same performance as the Hero ST Titanal but the carbon makes the ski a little lighter and a touch more forgiving. Lighter skiers or weaker ones will appreciate it. The ski remains very lively with a strong edge hold and tons of character. Great pick for skiers looking for a good ratio between performance delivered and calories required!

Do you have a charter for your IT Hero Elite ST ski linking the ski length and the ideal interval weight of the skier? A 1m73 skier can weigh 63 kg, but it can also weigh 85 kg. Can the same ski suit?

Dear Service Team, what is the difference between the two bindings SPX 12 KONECT DUAL B80 and NX 12 KONECT DUAL B80? Thanks in advance for you reply. Best regards

Asked by: skibuddy
Hi! The differences between the SPX and NX bindings are in the toe and heel pieces. Both kinds of bindings are compatible on the Konect plate. The NX Konect binding is the most user friendly and versatile alpine binding offered. The wider heel offers easy entry in to and exit out of the binding. The SPX binding offers a high performance heel that provides 27mm of elastic travel for shock absorption. The design also features an oversize heel pivot for greater coupling strength and energy transmission. We would recommend visiting an authorized Rossignol dealer to get your hands on a pair. I have skied 9SL WC at 165 cm for 4 years. Great skis but a bit short for long carving turns. I am considering the Hero Elite ST TI. My level is very advanced to expert at 88 kg and 188 cm. What size should I go for? And R21 plate or normal TPX plate?

Why choose the Unisex Racing Skis Hero Elite St Ti (Konect)

LCT TECHNOLOGY

An evolution of World Cup racing innovation, Rossignol's patented new LCT construction harnesses pure power and energy, delivering fluid stability in all conditions. Featuring a central "power rail" integrated from tip-to-tail, LCT eliminates counter-flexing of the ski to ensure consistently smooth stability and dynamic control of your line.

RECTANGULAR SIDEWALL

RECTANGULAR SIDEWALL constructions feature a horizontal layering of core materials (wood, fiberglass, metal, etc.) combined with full-length vertical sidewalls to deliver optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power.

ON TRAIL ROCKER

Adapted rocker at tip only. For easier pivoting on flat skis with a smooth and forgiving feel in the turns. The rise is designed so that once the ski is on its edge, the rocker section resumes contact with the snow, so then the ski works in the turn providing full-length edge contact.

POPLAR WOODCORE

The heart of the ski consists of a poplar core together with fiberglass. This gives the ski enormous fluidity and responsiveness. Poplar helps to maintain the ski's lively feel throughout its life.

OVERSIZED SIDECUT

The Oversized sidecut combines the very deep carving ski sidecut with current underfoot widths. The width at tip and tail delivers effective grip as well as power and precision. The underfoot width gives increased control and better hold in turns. Oversize sidecuts offer maneuverability, power and control

TITANAL

This construction type has been proven in competitions. Fiberglass combined with a titanal layer gives the ski more power, grip and extremely high precision in turns.

LCT TECHNOLOGY
