Hurky jerky skiing
I’m an intermediate skier and recently bought this ski. The glide is good but so far I’m disappointed with the skis. With just a small amount of loose snow the skis abruptly slow down. It’s a very hurky jerky ride. Transitioning from tracks to groomed snow is not smooth. In addition, Rossignol’s sizing chart on the website says the recommended weight for 196cm is for 65 to 80 kg. The 196 skis arrived with a tag saying 50 to 70 kg. I wasn’t happy to see that. Because my weight is just under 70kg, I kept the skis but now wish I had returned them. Rossignol please correct your sizing chart.

I love these skis. I recently bought a pair of 2020/2021 Delta Sport R-Skins (201s) with TURNAMIC Race Classic bindings and X-5 Tour Boots. I am an intermediate nordic skier that has been renting/borrowing skis for the past ~5 seasons, and what a difference this setup has made for me. They are fast, fun, light and the price for this quality can't be beat. I was a little skeptical about the versatility of the R-Skin technology coming from wax, but they have performed really well for me in all conditions. I especially enjoy the on-the-go adjustability of the Race Classic bindings, which has allowed me to get even more out of my skis. I recently set them to +1 on an icy night and was shocked with how such a small adjustment improved my ski! Lastly, these things are so pretty to look at; please don't ever abandon this colour scheme, Rossignol!
