Leave no line untracked. Designed in collaboration with big mountain rider Xavier De Le Rue, the XV is full-throttle freeride board designed for riders with a high threshold for speed and power. The super directional shape, large stiff nose and narrow tapered tail offer effortless float and maneuverability, while our 7M Serrated Edges maintain incomparable edge control for the precision and confidence to plant your front foot and pin it over anything in your path.
Explosive Pop and Stability
AmpTek Elite Rocker maintains explosive pop and edge-gripping stability
Maximum Flotation
Tip Roller base technology delivers effortless steering, stability and float in deep snow
Maximum Edge Hold
7M Serrated Edges enhance edge grip for maximum stability and edge hold in the firmest conditions
Hard-Charging Control
Reverse super directional flex maximizes power and control for aggressive freeriding
Powerful Stability
Our stiffest flex for advanced control and all-conditions freeride power
Sustainability
100% of Rossignol's wood snowboard cores originate from sustainably harvested forests
INTENSITY TECHNOLOGY: Rossignol's three award-winning and patented rocker/camber blends are each tailored to a specific riding style. AmpTek ELITE features stiffer tips and a softer waist with 60% camber between the feet for explosive pop and stability, and 40% rocker at the tips for catch-free spins and landings for total freestyle domination.
FLEX10
Rossignol snowboard FLEX ratings range from softest (1) to stiffest (10) so you can select the best flex pattern for your skill and riding style. Softer boards are easier to manipulate, stiffer boards offer more power and stability.
SERRATED EDGES 7M
Our original 7M SERRATED EDGE technology offers seven points of edge contact (three between the inserts and two on either side of the inserts), expanding grip to once unreachable areas of the board for maximum stability and edge hold in the firmest, iciest snow conditions.
BASALT
Stronger and lighter than fiberglass and with more elasticity than carbon, basalt fibers enhance power and stability while removing vibrations.
ARAMID (A.K.A. Kevlar®)
Commonly used in ballistical rated body armor fabric, Aramid dampens vibrations and softens rough landings.
ABS
Featured in sidewalls or built into splitboard cores, ABS provides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture.
MICROCELL
A PU material that's integrated into wood cores to reduce weight and deliver increased snap, pop and liveliness.
GLASS FIBER
Has greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings, making it our #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance. Glass fiber also stabilizes the mechanical properties of our wood cores over time.
ROLLER TIP
An industy-first, Rossignol's Roller technology features a milled core along the edges, raising the edges of the board off of the snow to varying degrees to address the needs of every riding style. TIP ROLLER raises edges 1mm off of the snow just past the contact points, directing snow around the board for increased stability at high speed, better floatation in powder, and reduced swing weight.
THC CBF2
Triple Hybrid Core featuring Dual Torsion Box, CBF² laminate, and three Microcell beams delivers lightweight balance, control and edge grip.
REVERSE SUPER DIRECTIONAL
A very directional inverse flex, extremely stiff under the front foot for confident control and maximum power in demanding terrain, medium stiff under the back foot for more nimble manueverability, and with a stiff waist for increased stability at speed.

Great all mountainIt’s my first season with it, probably went out like 10 times. It’s an agressive board really diferent from others (from multiple edges). First time was inconveniant, now I love it.

Super manoeuvrableI have the 168W, I’m 6’ 183lbs and I can ride this everywhere. But this board performs best in deep snow and long steep corduroy.
The magtech digs nicely into harder pack snow.
It actually rides smaller than it is, maybe cause of the rocker nose and tail..
Best board since my 1999 164 Ride Timeless.

Please make a wide 174 SplitboardI have the 174 wide xv and its superb in every way.
I also have purchased the 167 xv Splitboard and I can see its its going to potentially give me problems with my large feet size on steep riding.
This is the only board I want to ride now as its the best I have ridden.
Please make a Splitboard version of the 174 xv

Great if you've got small feetI've been riding this board every day for over a month now. It will charge nearly anything, but the board is simply not wide enough. I'm always catching my toes/ heals and I ride a large union binding with size 12 boots. I love the shape and responsiveness but for "must make" turns in no fall zones, I lose confidence in the Wide XV. She is a steep pow fiend.

Very Good BoardI am in the same opinion as the reviewer before. Really a greate board, which rocks if you bring it on edge.
I test the split version in 167 on glacier in Austria Hintertux. Over the run we had all kind of conditions. It was incredible between bumps, on gromer, on soft snow and especially on platse completely of ice.
I was suprise how the hard noise - soft tail shape was running and fall in love.
Bought me the 164 wide version.
Same request for future ... Make it a real wide version!!! No one is buying this pro board - who is afraid of slow edge to edge transfer.
Best regards from Germany
Jens
