Take your foot measurements, then choose the appropriate shoe size:
1. Put a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall. 2. Wear the socks you would normally wear in your shoes. 3. Stand on the sheet so that your back is flat against a wall (foot perpendicular to the wall) with your heels glued to the wall. 4. Draw a marker in front of your big toe (the furthest forward of your foot). 5. Measure the length between the edge of the sheet and the marker drawn. It is recommended to do this for both the left and right foot and to take into consideration the longer length. 6. To know your shoe size, take a ruler and measure the distance between the wall and the mark you have drawn. Then simply enter it in the corresponding cell in the "foot length" column. |

Warm Feet - who cares if the app works. Easy to set heat manually.
I bought these boots winter 2021 and they are a life saver, game changer, for those with cold feet. No words to describe how much I love them. I am an advanced skier and they are stiff enough for performance, but still comfortable. Rossi - keep up the good work!!!

Bluetooth works great
Posting this review to explain a) bluetooth connectivity works just fine, b) you dont need to use the app for the heater to work.
To connect these boots to your phone, press and hold the button on the side until the lights flickers rapidly. Then, open your phone's bluetooth configuration and locate an available device. On the first pairing it will appear something like aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff. Once you find the correct one it will have a name like I-12345678. Once paired, Open the Thermic-IC app, select add, press the big + icon, and give it a name. I name mine Right, and Left. Repeat this procedure again for the other boot.
Once configured, you can set your heating level from 1-10, or press the pause button to turn the heater off. There are also settings for motion sensing, so you can opt to only run the heater when you're not moving.
If you opt not to use the app to operate the heater, you can cycle between off, 1, 2, or 3. 3 is very high heat, don't leave it on 3 for more than a few minutes.
Lastly, these boots are quite good on their own, just because a few people couldn't figure out how to set up the app, shouldn't condemn them as bad.

FAIL!! Avoid this boot!
Heater and the app that is supposed to control it don’t work as described. App constantly loses Bluetooth connection which requires user stop to reconnect, though reconnecting may not work either. Bluetooth may not pair because it can’t detect the device or if it does, it doesn’t “see” the app on the phone. Using the app to connect may result in “ device not found” error message even if Bluetooth finds it. To add additional insult to injury, one of the boot heaters stopped turning on at all. The above occurred 3 weeks after purchase and the first time I used them on the slopes on a ski vacation.
The reviews on the Thermic app are abysmal yet Rossignol and Thermic keep selling this inferior product and worthless app. They actually charge MORE than for the non-Bluetooth heater too. Fortunately the retailer from which I bought this inferior product accepts returns of used items and I won’t be forced to waste my time contacting Rossignol or spend money shipping it to them under warranty.
