And what a season: 10 races, 8 victories, 9 podiums, 896 points out of 1000. At 21, the Ariègeoise won his 2nd Crystal Globe in freestyle Skiing with 896 points out of 1000 and his 3rd little Globe in the Moguls World Cup (consecutively please!).

The 2018 PyeongChang Olympic champion dominated the discipline!

Dorothea WIERER (ITA)

“It was very intense, I left 1min20 late and I was not at all sure that I could keep my globe. In the end I succeeded, it's just crazy. "


And 2 for Dorothea! In difficulty on the first part of the season, Dorothea was able to raise the bar and notably climbed on the podium of 3 of the 4 individual races at the World Championships in Antholz-Anterselva in Italy, allowing her to take 100 points ahead at the end of the Worlds. Despite a poor performance at Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) and put under pressure by her competitor Tiril Eckhoff until the last shot in Kontiolahti (Finland), Dorothea won the general with 7 points ahead.

She becomes the first biathlete in 18 years (Magdalena Forsberg), to win two Crystal Globes consecutively!

Federica BRIGNONE (ITA)

In a season of twists and turns, marked by an anticipated end, Federica Brignone becomes the first Italian to win the general of the Alpine Ski World Cup! Versatile, Federica shines as much in speed as in downhill, allowing her to finish the season with 1378 points vs 774 in 2018.

With 5 victories and 11 podiums, she signs her best season!

Petra VLHOVA (SVK)

 

Petra Vlhova

How not to mention the performance of Petra Vlhova this season? Slovak alpine skier, she became in 2019 the first world champion of her country in alpine skiing by winning the giant slalom of the World championships of Åre (Sweden) on February 14, also being illustrated in combined and in slalom with the silver and bronze medals.

This season, Petra wins the Slalom and Parallel Giant Slalom World Cup, congratulations to her!
