For Nordic skiing, your pole must reach your shoulder. For skate skiing, measure the distance from the ground to your ear; even if it seems high, it's the minimum needed to generate good thrust. |

Great pole at a very good price
These poles are very light and strong and an excellent price. The non-click straps are a big plus for me. Warning: before you ski, check the tightness of the nuts that secure the baskets to the poles. One of mine was not tightened at the factory and I lost both it and the basket on the second day of skiing. You can't use the poles without the nuts, and replacement from Rossignol is $14.
