Your performance during the 07/08 season?
Mainly good, even though I didn’t get into the top group in the sprint.
Key dates last winter (positive and negative)?
The first World Cup where I got to the semi-final and my Classic run in Otepää.
Do you think you improved things in the technical or mental aspect?
In Classic, I’ve certainly improved my pushing and more generally, I don’t fear anyone at the start.
Main focus during your 08/09 summer preparation?
I hope to improve further in Classic, that’s why I’m doing more preparation than in the past.
Favourite course on the circuit?
Otepää, because for the Classic, you can’t find a better one!
Least favourite course on the circuit?
Val di Fiemme, I don’t like it at all!!!
Your objectives for the winter season 08/09?
The top group in sprint, gain points for distance, and do well at the World Championships!
What about the forthcoming World Championships?
I don’t pressure myself; I just hope that everything will go well.
I’ve not yet been there.
Your best moment on the World Cup circuit?
At Canmore, we stayed there for 12 days, and it was really cool!
Your best race memory?
The first time I got to the KO quarter-finals, I couldn’t believe it!
The funniest thing that’s happened to you on the circuit?
I don’t know if it’s really funny, but I missed the plane to Kuusamo. Result: I arrived the evening before the race without testing my skis or familiarising myself with the course!!!
When you’re in the starting gate, what goes through your mind?
Thoroughness, not leaving anything to chance.
When you’re in the starting gate, what goes through your mind?
Nothing, I count down in my head.
You’re travelling the world all year. Do you have or take the time to take a look at the places you go? What discoveries do you look for in foreign countries?
We don’t really have time to visit, but I’d like to see the houses when they’re different to ours, or even the food (except in China!!).
Apart from training, what have you done this summer?
I enjoyed the summer with friends and family, swimming in the pool, which I love it after training!!!
Your latest purchase?
Clothes.
Over and over on your MP3 player?
There’s everything.
The last time you had too much to drink?
This Spring!

Laughing, training, sleeping.

Going swimming, being with my friends and family who I don’t see much of…
The last film you saw at the cinema?
“Il y a longtemps que je t’aime”, very good film, especially the ending!!!

My I-pod.
The first thing you do in the morning when you wake up?
I shout at my alarm, I hate it!!!

The evening, because it’s finally quiet, and there’s nothing left to do!
Your favourite joke?
Pretending to be someone else on the phone.
Are you concerned about the environment? Do you do anything to protect nature?
I’m more and more concerned… I recycle at home, I try to do like everyone does, being careful not to waste water, etc…
