The fat kickers built in the backcountry with the help of a snowcat didn’t survive to their attacks with sick switch Bs 5, Fs 5, Front 9, Bs 7, Bs 1 no grab ( in memory of Tristan Picot…)
The action was captured from a helicopter, a paraglider and from the ground, all angles were covered. The next days, Thomas and Brynild spent the last bit of their remaining energy mini shredding, a funny snow sculpture before leaving for Meribel and the Onboard session!
Since we’re nice, you’ll find here few tricks filmed with our phones as well as couple pictures to make you wait till next year Rooster TV…
“Last weekend, I was competing at the Spring Battle TTR 4 star event in Austria!
Conditions were great and the setup was epic. After a really good qualification day, I managed the finals... Unfortunately, I got super warm and I had speed problems. I could not join the super final :-(
Anyhow the weekend was great!“

INTERCREW, what is it?
Not really a comp, not really a photo shoot…It’s more a excuse found by Brynild VULIN and Bruno RIVOIRE to get the chance to build up a creative park in Chamrousse (France) and invite the european scene to come have fun with them. A good excuse to enjoy spring, throw some sausages on the BBQ, ride at sunset and party hard!
Few riders from Rossignol made it to the comp for its sixth edition, battling out in different crew, riding for different magazine or website.
Brynild VULIN (Atmo Crew) doubled up his muscle density after couple weeks of hard shovelling to offer the best park possible…
Thomas GERIN (Moon Crew) got 2nd position during the best session under his belt and 200 euros into his pocket with sick rail slaying: switch nose press on the whole length of the box, switch back lip first try and nollie back tail sex change on the down rail!
Dimitri BIAU (Fluofun.fr Crew) nailed back lip pretzel on the down rail and received 5 euros for it… YEAHHHHH!!!
Enzo NILO (Method Crew) , our still not shaving 15 years old rookie got himself noticed with smooth Switch Bs 900 and handplant on the wall!
Nate JOHNSTONE (Australia – Method Crew) represented all day long before he got stocked down the resort while the sunset session on the park…
The snowpark shaped and thought by Wise Ride and White Widow got well shredded by all the riders, it’s been a trick fest on the walls, pole jam, bowl transfers, kickers and pyramid.
On the result side, organisers were too good and decided to switch place with the “worst” crew, Fluofun team then finished 1st for a strong visual impression and party animation…
Congrats to Brynild VULIN and Bruno RIVOIRE who organised, shredded, shovelled, filmed, and managed this event successfully!
See you next year for another crazy INTERCREW!
Just after she received next year DIVA MAG, Kjersti BUAAS scored and won the US Open Slopestyle for the second year in a row, ahead of Jenny JONES and Chanelle SLADICS! Kjersti started the competition week with a victory in Quarterpipe and the award of the highest air! She ended up missing the podium for one place in Halfpipe. With all these results combined, she let no chances to anyone else to get the Overall title, and leaves with another new Volvo! A second one after the one from the 2009 European Open!
During her best Slopestyle run, Kjersti was on fire and linked those tricks: Nosepress, 50 – 50 to 180 out, Cab 540 Indy, Bs 360 Indy, Fs 360 Stalefish, and a sick Fs 720 Mute!
Kjersti confirmed she is one of the the most technical and polyvalent freestyler of this season!
Good job Kjersti!
