Comments about Rossignol S3 OPEN:
I'm 61 ex ski patrol. These skis are amazing in all conditions. Deep and steep they shine. Great in the bumps. Not a racing ski but stable at high speeds. If you are looking for a great all mountain ski that excels in the pow and can ski groomers in the afternoon with the wife these are hard to beat.

Comments about Rossignol S3 OPEN:
These skis are wonderful on all mountain conditions from powder to groomers to crud. They are able to be skied with comfort and control. They carve so easily that if is almost effortless. I am looking forward to ripping up some new turns.

Comments about Rossignol S3 OPEN:
I was at Whistler last winter and saw tons of these. Decided to demo a pair when I got back to my home PNW ski area. I liked them so much I bought a pair.
It is a great all-mountain ski for soft snow groomers and powder. Really easy to ski and just fun! It carves on the groomers but has a little trouble in really firm conditions. (For that reason I would not recommend this as an East coast ski for daily use.)
Note: I ski it a size up from my regular ski because the rocker tip and tail reduces the running length.

Comments about Rossignol S3 OPEN:
unbelievable ski for trees, powder, and mogels. i'm an east coast tree skier and i have tested the S3 at Jay Peak, the epicenter of eastern powder and trees. they slither through tight tree lines and mogels. they are incredibly quick in tight spots and float great. Also skis great in spring conditions and they hold up on hardpack. I'm 150 lbs and 5'9" and ski on the 167cm. I would probably upsize if i skied much out west or go to the S7.i have no negative thoughts about this ski.

Comments about Rossignol S3 OPEN:
while i was up at jay peak i demoed the s3. man were they fun. on my way home i stopped in new Hampshire and picked up a pair. only problem was that it was march. they didn't see snow until this december. My first day out it was super icy, i was a little anxious to see how the s3 was going to perform. They were better than i could have imagined. the next weekend i was skiing in two feet of powder, and they couldn't have performed better. yesterday it was around 5 degrees out and the snow was real hard. i ripped groomers just like i did when i raced and they were super stable. The s3 truely is the east coast powder ski because it works best in powder, but it performs great in everything else.
