Comments about Rossignol EXPERIENCE 88 OPEN:
The 88 is a great all round ski perfect for resort bashing anywhere....
Skied it on hard packed groomers, soft new snow groomers and the ski rips...
In boot deep fresh the ski was great, don't now about deeper cause that's all there was but I'm sure would be fine....
I would recommend this ski to anyway that loves to rip around the whole mountain from blues to double blacks and a little of piste....
Remember skis are only as good as your ability will allow ...... So buy accordingly !!

Comments about Rossignol EXPERIENCE 88 OPEN:
This is the best all mountain ski by far. It's fun, super-quick/snappy, smooth yet powerful. It really is a carving machine with a free-ride touch. It carves like no other in the all-mountain category and it has amazing edge hold. Soft snow, hard pack, and ice are not a problem for this beast, and I loved the way that it just plowed through the chopped. The tip dove on me a little bit in the really deep (shallow pow was not a prob), but it has so many other positive trade off's that I really did not care. Usually all mountain skis lack quickness carving fun. This one is a machine. Simply Awesome***

I am a volunteer Mountain Host and ski approx. 4 days per week. This ski will handle powder, crud, moguls, and groomers. There is little underfoot surfing feel when the ski is flat. On edge it turns like the ski is on rails. This ski has outstanding performance at slow to medium speed. I am 5'9" and weigh 178. I skied it in both 170 and 178. The 170 would be an outstanding ski for an instructor. Both lengths will ski backwards and sideslip to the left or right.

I skied this ski and just loved it. I do lot's of masters racing and looking at them i wasn't sure what to think? But they were awesome on ice and hard packed snow. There was no powder that day.

This ski is great for skiing on piste (although far wider than necessary). I was looking for something with more off piste/powder ability and have been disappointed. I would say it's 80% Piste:20% Off piste rather than the advertised 50:50. I should have bought the S3!?

Comments about Rossignol EXPERIENCE 88 OPEN:
Conditions can vary very quickly on the east coast. I ski at the largest ski area east of the rockies and need a ski I can count on to have fun with. Experience 88 is the ski that I have waited decades for. I took a pair out for a demo and found that Rossi has this rocker thing right compared to the competition. Whatever you come across, blue ice to deep powder, the Experience 88 handles it with ease. My son, who is a high level USSA racer told me that "those skis" gave me "super powers."
