Elias ELHARDT landed on the podium in the 2009 CRANS MONTANA CHAMPS OPEN, although the course was not in his advantage as Elias never rides Halfpipe. Showing up new skills to the crows, he scored some points during this 5 stars TTR event, and drove home heavier than when he arrived with 6500 US prize money in his pocket.

What do you think about this kind of events?
Jonas: “It’s really cool to ride with snowboarders and skiers from all generations, and with a crazy level! Organisation is really nice and relax: riders go first, and not the brand! Pics and movies production means are very impressive and everything is directly available online! I discover Arêches Beaufort which is a nice station with crazy backcountry spots… That’s fun! »
Brynild: “It’s really different from other events. Riders can show what they are able to do with a snowboard, and that permit to gather all kind of ride (Freestyle, Freeride, Jib). The spirit is very nice and all riders are motivated to do their best!”
What are you going to do next months?
Jonas: “I participe at all Freeride World Tour spots, and I hope 2009 will be MY year… I am going to make lot of pictures and movies with other riders of ROSSIGNOL Team (Jeremy JONES and Xavier DE LE RUE), and to ride on my homespot in Verbier!”
Brynild: “I work a lot with my WISE RIDE friends on new projects… I will be in Chamrousse in a few days for the OUT CONTEST, and of course, I am going to ride at the maximum… Everything depends on weather conditions… I scheduled a trip in Madagascar for the end of the season… To be continued…”
What are your 2009 objectives?
Jonas: “To gain the maximum of experience in Freeride including Freestyle! That’s very funny to make some tricks in pow! I would like to ride more in switch, and to do a big butter in a close line! At the private level, I need a girlfriend… If someone is interested…”
Brynild: “First, to get a beautiful season with amazing pow, to make a lot of pictures and movies, to realize a trip in Madagascar, and to settle down with my girlfriend… (at the difference of Jonas…)”
