One autumn morning, not far from Place de la Bastille in Paris, two biathletes were strolling through the streets of the French capital. Marie-Laure Brunet and Marie Dorin-Habert were on their way to meet Christine Phung, the Parisian stylist who has designed the next nordic collection - winter 2013-2014 - for Rossignol. Our two athletes spent several hours in her workshop at Ateliers de Paris, gaining interesting insights into this previously unknown world. Christine Phung's designs are tailored to the wellbeing of the athletes who wear them, but above all are distinguished by their outstanding combination of style and technical excellence.
Marie-Laure Brunet:"Wearing Rossignol products both on and off the slopes demonstrates my great attachment and trust for the brand. I am proud to wear the Rossignol colors beyond nordic skiing areas. I've been with Rossignol since I was very young and the brand is now allowing me to get even more involved through its clothing and I love this idea. Developing nordic garments is a great project and I'm delighted to promote lines such as JCC and 1907! Looking stylish both on and off skis is very important for a young woman like me!"
Marie Dorin-Habert:"I've used Rossignol skis from the very beginning. The brand has been with me at my first World Cups, my first successes and my many failures! So this year, when Rossignol offered to supply our skiwear, I was happy to get on board and wear clothing coordinated with my skis for training and away from the slopes! What is Rossignol's secret? A subtle combination of glide, snow, performance, technical excellence, comfort and...why not look good at the same time?"
Marie-Laure Brunet and Marie Dorin-Habert will be wearing items from the new collection this winter and will also be fully equipped for their preparations over the summer. At the same time, Rossignol is confirming its commitment to high-end technical clothing for summer and winter.

With two mistakes at the shooting I'm irritate, but feelings on skis were pretty good and I taked pleasure. Congratulations to Marie for her victory. On Sunday, I finished 2nd in the pursuit. I catched up 5 places and shot 19/20. I am satisfied with my condition. It was a good day."

Rossignol Group is delighted to announce that its best athletes have extended their contracts up to the Sochi Olympic Games in 2014.
Heading the list is Carl-Johan Bergman, double medalist at the Ruhpolding World Championships in 2012. Third in sprint and second in pursuit, the Swede has demonstrated his ability throughout the season, even wearing the yellow jersey of the World Cup leader in December. "The decision to continue with Rossignol was simple. To achieve my goals, I need the best skis and Rossignol is without doubt the best manufacturer for my skiing style. To be at my best, I need good support and Rossignol's Team Service produces the best skis on the market year after year. I love that! With the new X-IUM boots and the new X-IUM WCS skis, I am ready to go in search of Olympic medals!"
