Martin Fourcade has won the first Mass Start of the season 2013-2014 in Oberhof with one penalty. The French racer has taken his revenge on the Norway’s Team after his two third places in Sprint and Pursuit behind them. "I was not happy about my last shooting yesterday and found the power inside to win and I am happy. This was the only WC venue where I had never won before, so I am quite happy...Once again, the organization did a great job this week. I do not like this kind of weather or snow but they did a great job with what came out of the sky." (IBU Quote)

New podium for Chris Andre Jespersen in the Tour de Ski! The Norwegian ends third of the 10km Classic in Val di Fiemme ahead of his teammates Petter Northug Jr and Martin Sundby. The racer from Rossignol Team is also third of the overall Tour de Ski standing before the last stage, the famous Final Climb of Alpe Cermis!
Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen finishes 2nd of the 5km Classic (+14.9) ahead of her Norway’s teammate Therese Johaug. She is always the current leader of the Tour de Ski Sprint & Overall before the last stage but she knows that it will be difficult to get to the Alpe Cermis in first position.
"I think I wanted the podium more than the other girls. Towards the end I decided I go for it as much as I can. I feel I am in a very good shape and I can compete with almost everybody. I do not think much about the overall result in the Tour de Ski. It’s already a great achievement for me to be in the leading position before the final stage. I am happy that there is a high chance that a Norwegian lady crosses the finish on Alpe Cermis in first place. " (Quote : Fis Ski)

Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen continues to be very strong in this Tour de Ski. After three second places, the racer from Rossignol Team has found the way of the victory! She ended first of the 15km Pursuit Free in Toblach (ITA) ahead one of the favorite Therese Johaug and Anne Kylloenen. Before the two last races, she is always leading the Overall ranking of the Tour de Ski.
“It was a tough competition. I was little bit tired after the first lap, the course is quite hard in Toblach. I was happy there was a feeding station. I felt better in second half of the race. I am happy that my shape has been so good. It is a good sign for the Games, which are the biggest goal for me. I still think that Therese (Johaug) is the biggest favorite for the overall victory in the Tour de Ski. She has been always very strong on the Final Climb” (Quote: FisSki.com)
