The new Xelium system is 700 g lighter than a traditional binding: skiers can now progress on a high-performance system in complete safety, without being held back by the weight of their bindings. Mounting and adjustment of the bindings is "tool-free". Adjustment is simple and fast, and requires little effort - which makes the Xelium system suitable for rental. The styling has been designed with perfectly co-ordinated "ski + binding" packages in mind. The materials used are strong and durable, so that the products will go on looking good. The design of the Xelium system is eco-friendly: total environmental impact has been reduced by 35% compared to the lifecycle of a traditional binding. On an annual basis, production of the new system reduces CO2 emissions by 34%, or the equivalent of 200 round-the-world car journeys.
