IMPORTANT INFORMATION : RECALL OPERATION
The ROSSIGNOL Group informs you of an important safety recall involving X-IUM and X-11 Nordic ski boots produced after December, 2007. We are recalling these boots because the soles may separate from the upper boot during use and result in the skier losing control and falling. Only a portion of the boots sold after December, 2007 and before June, 2009 is being recalled, and there is a simple visual inspection procedure that can determine if a specific pair of boots is being recalled. Boots shipped prior to December 1, 2007 or after June 1, 2009 are not being recalled. There may be a 5 or 6 digit lot number stamped in the right boot under the removable insole (see photo below). If there is no lot number, or if the lot number is not on the following list, the boots are not being recalled. Following is a list of the recalled lot numbers for these boots:

If you have any Rossignol X-IUM or X-11 boots, DO NOT USE THEM UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED TO SEE IF THEY ARE AMONG THE LOTS BEING RECALLED. If there is no lot number on your boots, or if the lot number is not on this list, the boots are not being recalled. If your boots have lot numbers on the insole that are on this list, DO NOT USE THEM OR LET OTHERS USE THEM. Please contact your retailer immediately to arrange for an exchange.
