Technologies

  • PROP TECH
    PROP TECH - Rossignol

Transversal ski flex release system. In response to the new turn radius regulations issued by the FIS, we have worked hard on the actual structure of the ski in a bid to improve turn initiation and make handling more enjoyable. The result is the Prop Teck Technology. The Zicral top reinforcement layer is cut lengthwise at the tip of the ski for superior power transfer and ski control. This technology is used by all our World Cup racers.

  • POWER TURN ROCKER
    POWER TURN ROCKER - Rossignol

This ski has high traditional camber for 90% of its length, delivering power as well as excellent snowfeel and grip on the piste. A slight rocker over the remaining 10%, at the tip, makes turn initiation easier and more controllable. Piste - Precision - Grip - Power - Speed - Acceleration.

  • RECTANGULAR SANDWICH
    RECTANGULAR SANDWICH - Rossignol

A modern sandwich construction, with wood core, vertical walls, fiberglass and titanal or carbon reinforcement. The wood core gives the ski its character, as well as great snowfeel. The rectangular structure enables improved flex distribution, while the vertical walls give immediate, powerful grip. Grip, Power, Control

  • CASCADE TIP
    CASCADE TIP - Rossignol

This specific tip construction involves stepping the end-points of the top two layers, one metal and the other fiberglass. The objective is to reduce tip inertia and weight, giving a ski that is livelier and more receptive. This construction also delivers better torsional control of the tip, for more effective grip and very high precision in turns. Liveliness, Grip, Precision, Adaptability.

Choose your size

Ski selection, both model and length, always will be a very personal and subjective decision.  When making your length decision, we have found the following factors should be taken into consideration.

Optimal ski length is typically determined by the following order: weight, ability, height, and aggressiveness.  Less aggressive advancing skiers should error on the shorter size, while more aggressive and accomplished skiers may choose to move up a size.
