The Rossignol and Lange brands have just put the finishing touches to an agreement with the Austrian pool and will now be part of the Federation. Rossignol will supply skis / bindings / boots for alpine skiing and ski cross, and skis / boots / poles for Nordic skiing, while LANGE will provide alpine boots.
Bruno Cercley, CEO of the Rossignol Group: "We are delighted with this landmark agreement with the Austrian Ski Federation. Competition is part of our DNA, and it is an honor to equip the champions of this great nation in world skiing. Our long-term commitment will enable us to build effective ties with both racers and the federation, with the joint goal of winning and thereby helping develop skiing in Austria and the rest of the world. It heralds a milestone in our development plans and we are both very proud and delighted."
Bernadette Schild signs on for two seasons
After the agreement was signed with the pool, Austrian Bernadette Schild decided to join the Rossignol brand for the next two seasons. This talented 24-year-old slalom skier already has three World Cup podiums under her belt and several Top 10 finishes over the last two seasons.
Bernadette Schild: "I see this partnership with Rossignol as a way of working on and developing my technique, because the equipment is simply incredible! I was given a warm welcome by the entire team, and I can't wait to start the season and become an even more integral part of the team."
Angelo Maina, Director of Rossignol's Racing Department: "We are really happy to welcome Bernadette Schild into our team. She's a highly promising skier, and it's a great way of marking our debut in the pool with her. We'll pull out all the stops to make this new commitment a success."
Bernadette Schild's arrival will strengthen an already formidable technical female team at Rossignol, and we would like to wish the young Austrian every success in quickly achieving her key objectives, starting next season with the Beaver Creek World Championships.

In order to celebrate their amazing season, athletes from Rossignol, Dynastar and Lange Team are dancing on the famous song "Happy"! Check out this funny video!
With her third place in the last Giant Slalom in Lenzerheide, Jessica Lindell Vikarby has lost the crystal globe of the discipline for only 26 points. She ended second behind the winner of the overall Anna Fenninger (518 points) and ahead of her Rossignol teammate Maria Pietilae-Holmner (339 points).
After four years without podiums, Jessica Lindell Vikarby was in a very good shape this winter and she has shown that she had the level to stay among the best, keeping the red bib of leader almost until the last race. Unfortunately, Fenninger was too strong this Sunday but the racer from Rossignol Team could be satisfied with 5 podiums this season including one victory in Beaver Creek. Her Sweden’s teammate, Maria Pietilae-Holmner has also found again the way of the podium in Giant Slalom and also in slalom.
Following all these good results, Rossignol has won the ladies brand ranking in GS and has confirmed its leadership with the first place of the women overall brand ranking!
