Last 4th, 5th and 6th of June, freeskiers did some sightseeing. The objective for them was not to take some holidays, even after their busy season, but to visit the different factories of the Rossignol Group. An express road trip between France and Spain, with the following program:
-Visit of the logistics center of the group in Saint-Etienne de Saint-Geoirs
-Visit of the headquarters in Saint-Jean de Moirans
-Group visit of the production plant in Artès (in Spain near Barcelona).
- Little trip in Barcelona.
With these 5 bad boys’ personalities, the ambiance could not be that better! Even if they already knew each other very well, these few days all together have created a true team cohesion. El Rancho (Enak Gavaggio)took the opportunity to give some useful advice to the young guys on how to manage their professional careers.
For the production sites’ employees, it was the opportunity to interact with the pro-riders, and also to better understand their expectations in order to continuously improve the skis quality.
The freeskiers were thrilled to meet the people who are actually making their skis. It was the occasion for them to pay a special tribute to all these men and women who make their sport passion practice possible. This visit was also a way to thank those who are not in the spotlight but are however contributing to the brand awareness.
These few days of trip have permitted themselves to discover the different aspects of the ski production. It offered them a new way of looking at their Squad 7 Soul 7 or Scratch: they had the possibility to take a mould of them wearing some beautiful aprons! Another best day for our freeskiers!
A nice story with some beautiful encounters, some pictures shared, some autographs signed ... All these people gathered around a common passion: the Rossignol brand.

Sam Favret Claims 1st, Parker White 2nd!
After two days of weather delays, 20 of freeskiing's elite dropped into the open face of the Cirque du Fond Blanc at the 2013 Red Bull Linecatcher in Les Arcs, France, on Wednesday. When it was over, Rossignol Freeride athletes, Sam Favret (France) and Parker White (USA), claimed the top two spots of the podium going first and second respectively.
"I had a great run," Favret said. "I landed all my tricks. I had some fun, got some powder, super good vibes. Good venue -- we want to see a spot like that every time." Added Parker, "Hands down the best contest I've done in my life."
