Here is a cool video and message from Hans Kestilä :

"As a member of the Sappee SnowPark team I'm happy to be able to be involved in building the set-ups for the park. Last week we built almost all of the jumps and this video is about a cold winterday when I was testing out the new jumps. Huge thanks to Teemu Heljo for the video! Enjoy!" Hans

Christof Innerhofer has been attached to Rossignol since his early days and has decided to extend his association with the company until 2014.

With an eye on the next Worlds in 2013 in Schladming and the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Rossignol Group is delighted that Christof Innerhofer has once again committed himself to the company, and wishes him all the best for the coming years.

Cross Country : Rossignol Team in front of the stage !

This weekend, Rossignol Team made good results in Rybinsk (Russia) in spite of the big cold. On Saturday during the Mass Start 15 km, Ilia Chernousov ends second in front of Tobias Angerer. Alexander Legkov finishes 4th.

Ilia Chernousov :"I’m very glad to be the prize-winner. This is my first podium in this year. The new course was not that good for me as I’m not so good at finish so the only tactic was to work hard in the last uphill and then come what may. I won skiathlon here last year so I’m looking forward for tomorrow’s race."

Tobias Angerer :"I’m happy to be back here, I like Rybinsk and always race well here. This is my fourth podium out of five races which took place in Demino. I looked for the podium today and did my best. First our team planned not to come here because of the cold weather but then the coaches changed their mind because the athletes wanted to race here and it proved a right decision."

The next day during the skiathlon, Ilia Chernousov kept its promise and ended again on the podium (2nd) quite as Tobias Angerer 3rd who ended in sprint in front of Dementiev. Next stage of world cup in Nove Mesto.

SUPER COMBINED AT LES HOUCHES : ALL THE REACTIONS

Didier Defago (6e) :“I did not expect necessarily a performance as this one in super combined. In downhill, I showed correct things but Romed Baumann really made the difference. I am satisfied with my slalom, I made a clean run. I almost want to say that I went there without thinking too much even if in a slalom drawn by Ante Kostelic it is necessary to think a little! I had the feeling that I did not much have to lose. I have to use it for the next race. I waited a little more of this weekend in particular in downhill but that pleases me all the same to make a result like that today.”

Christof Innerhofer (10e) :“My feeling in downhill wasn’t good. In slalom, it was not bad, it was better than the last in Kitzbühel. I made a good start but in the arrival it was complicated because of the light. I skied in the dark ! When you look the podium, I think I would be better. My week-end was not very good, I feel tired. During the three downhills the snow was very cold and aggressive. I had to learn a lot. Now, we are going to Sochi, it’s a new place, it’s really interesting. I hope the conditions will be good.”

Brice Roger (20e) :“I really made a good run in slalom. I ski well on the top and later I too much assured. I wanted to cross the finish line and mark points in the World Cup. I do not know exactly what did not work in downhill. I like this slope especially that I had participated in my first World cup here last year. And during these four days, it was complicated. But it is positive. I take experience. Now I’m going to Sochi, I think that it is a good thing for the next Olympics Games”
