X-IUM CLASSIC WC2 R-GRIP

The X-ium Classic WC C2 R-Grip is an waxless, elite-level, high-performance World Cup Classic ski designed for competitive athletes and warm, wet snow conditions. Featuring 3D Profile construction, Nomex Honeycomb core and Control Edge ABS sidewalls, X-ium Classic skis are ultra-lightweight and deliver powerful and precise performance. New Bi-Edge technology provides a longer camber pocket, combined with a specialized kick zone for a stronger, easier kick. The waxless C2 R-Grip version provides a wider range of use in warm temperatures than previous waxless race skis.

      Comments about Rossignol X-IUM CLASSIC WC2 R-GRIP:

I live in a coastal Alaska town and the winter has been more like a summer. These skis have been unbelievably good from conditions in the range of 30 degrees to 38 degrees, from wet snowstorms to actual pouring rain. Occasionally I have had snow build up stilts on the bottom but very very rarely. Mostly they have been an exceptional ski and a pair that I can no longer imagine myself without! Super convenient day to day and priceless for racing.

        Comments about Rossignol X-IUM CLASSIC WC2 R-GRIP:

These skis make that trademark fish scale sound when you're gliding down a hill, but other than that, they feel like regular skis. They kick well in conditions hovering around the freezing point when finding the right kick wax is nearly impossible, and they're super convenient even in good, cold conditions when I'm either too lazy to apply kick or I've run out of time before practice after helping wax the skis of all my athletes. Highly recommended as one pair in a racing fleet, or as the go-to training pair for a high-level skier averse to wax testing.

          Comments about Rossignol X-IUM CLASSIC WC2 R-GRIP:

These skis are great for when you just can't seem to find a kick wax for conditions. They kick amazingly well on slushy, tough snow around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. These skis have also greatly improved over the years and are beginning to cover a wider and wider range of conditions.
