  • Christof Innerhofer extends his contract for 3 years

After an incredible season with two Olympic medals – silver in Downhill and bronze in Super Combined - Christof Innerhofer has decided to extend his association with Rossignol until 2017. This deal includes Rossignol ski equipment, bindings, skiboots, poles, helmet and goggles.
With an eye on the next World Championships in 2015 in Beaver Creek, Rossignol Group is delighted that Christof Innerhofer has once again committed himself to the company, and wishes him all the best for the coming years.

After an amazing season marked by numerous successes during Sochi Olympic Games and in World Cup, Rossignol Group has kept the majority of its athletes and is very proud to welcome new recruits as Bernadette Schild, Carlo Janka, Thomas Mermillod Blondin. We wish all of them a good summer training to begin in the best way the next winter.

Les Français THOMAS MERMILLOD BLONDIN et NICOLAS THOULE s'engagent avec Rossignol pour deux ans !

Le Groupe Rossignol annonce ce jour la signature de deux nouveaux contrats qui viendront renforcer le Team masculin. Les Français Thomas Mermillod Blondin et Nicolas Thoule rejoignent la marque iséroise pour une durée de deux ans.

A 30 ans, Thomas Mermillod Blondin possède l’expérience du plus haut niveau et a montré à plusieurs reprises qu’il était capable de se classer parmi les meilleurs mondiaux. Deuxième du Super G des finales de Lenzerheide cet hiver, le skieur du Grand-Bornand est également monté sur trois podiums de Coupe du Monde en Super Combiné à Kitzbühel, Sotchi et Bansko. Sa polyvalence sera un réel atout pour la poursuite du développement de notre matériel.

 

Thomas Mermillod Blondin : « Les tests avec Rossignol se sont très bien passés au printemps, j’ai vraiment eu un bon feeling et j’ai décidé de rejoindre cette marque française avec laquelle j’ai fait mes débuts. Je suis très heureux de pouvoir travailler avec cette équipe et d’évoluer sur des skis course qui sont directement produits en France. C’est un nouveau challenge pour moi, un nouveau départ. J’ai bien terminé la saison dernière avec mon podium en Super G et j’espère que je débuterai l’année prochaine avec d’aussi bons résultats. Mon objectif est de bien figurer au classement général de la Coupe du Monde le plus rapidement possible et bien sûr d’accrocher une médaille à Beaver Creek en février prochain. »

De son côté, le jeune Nicolas Thoule viendra compléter l’équipe technique de Rossignol. Né en 1990, le skieur de Châtel compte déjà 16 départs en Coupe du Monde et a intégré le groupe A de l’équipe de France pour la saison prochaine en géant et en slalom.

Le Groupe Rossignol est très fier d’accueillir ces deux nouvelles recrues et leur souhaite de pouvoir atteindre leurs objectifs les plus précieux lors des deux années à venir.

ROSSIGNOL AND LANGE ENTER THE AUSTRIAN POOL

The Rossignol and Lange brands have just put the finishing touches to an agreement with the Austrian pool and will now be part of the Federation. Rossignol will supply skis / bindings / boots for alpine skiing and ski cross, and skis / boots / poles for Nordic skiing, while LANGE will provide alpine boots.

Bruno Cercley, CEO of the Rossignol Group: "We are delighted with this landmark agreement with the Austrian Ski Federation. Competition is part of our DNA, and it is an honor to equip the champions of this great nation in world skiing. Our long-term commitment will enable us to build effective ties with both racers and the federation, with the joint goal of winning and thereby helping develop skiing in Austria and the rest of the world. It heralds a milestone in our development plans and we are both very proud and delighted."

Bernadette Schild signs on for two seasons
After the agreement was signed with the pool, Austrian Bernadette Schild decided to join the Rossignol brand for the next two seasons. This talented 24-year-old slalom skier already has three World Cup podiums under her belt and several Top 10 finishes over the last two seasons.

Bernadette Schild: "I see this partnership with Rossignol as a way of working on and developing my technique, because the equipment is simply incredible! I was given a warm welcome by the entire team, and I can't wait to start the season and become an even more integral part of the team."

Angelo Maina, Director of Rossignol's Racing Department: "We are really happy to welcome Bernadette Schild into our team. She's a highly promising skier, and it's a great way of marking our debut in the pool with her. We'll pull out all the stops to make this new commitment a success."

Bernadette Schild's arrival will strengthen an already formidable technical female team at Rossignol, and we would like to wish the young Austrian every success in quickly achieving her key objectives, starting next season with the Beaver Creek World Championships.

Rossignol starts brilliantly the year 2014 by receiving Travelers’ Choice award for ski equipment in France, given by the numerous Trip Advisor users, the world’s largest travel site.

Every Travelers' Choice Awards are determined by surveying thousands of travelers around the world about their favorite brands—the ones they prefer to have with them on a trip. This year, Trip Advisor announces winners in 56 different categories in markets around the globe, representing the best of the best. One of which Rossignol performs: ski equipment in France.

The classification is determined from the millions of value-added opinions given on the site.

CARLO JANKA JOINS ROSSIGNOL FOR TWO YEARS

Today, Rossignol Group announces the signing of a 2-year sponsorship deal with the Swiss skier CARLO JANKA. This deal includes Rossignol ski equipment, bindings and skiboots.

27 years-old Carlo Janka already has a strong prize list and is considered as one of the best World Cup racers. Giant Olympic Champion in Vancouver 2010, World Champion in the same discipline in 2009 and bronze medalist in Downhill, he has also won the overall ranking of the World Cup in 2010. With 20 World Cup podiums in four different disciplines, Carlo Janka will share his experience in speed and technical disciplines with Rossignol.

Carlo Janka :I am really satisfied to begin this new adventure with Rossignol to try to find the highest level. It is a brand which possesses very good equipment and it is pleasant to integrate a so motivated team.
