Norwegian Kjetil Jansrud claimed the Olympic gold in Super-G. American Andrew Weibrecht lost 0.30 sec. to him and became the Olympic silver medal winner. Canadian Jan Hudec and American Bode Miller having showed the same time of 1.18.67 min. and shared the bronze medal.

Calgary’s Hudec made history last weekend when he finished in a tie for third in the men’s super-G. The 32-year-old is the first Canadian since Ed Podivinsky, 20 years ago, to claim a medal in one of the alpine disciplines.
