Think its time to send a new update.

I have skied some competitions here in Norway. Actually they all went bad for me. Did some stupid falls, and my shoulder popped out, so I could`nt ski the rest of the lines. But is one competition I want to say something about, its Røldal Freeride Challenge. Røldal Freeride Challenge was my first Freeride competition back in 2004, I was 16 years old. It was Per Mundhjeld who I looked up to as a skier who got me to the freeride comp. I was to young to compete, so I had to talk to the head-chief of the comp Bettina Gavoll Hansen. She was very hot, so I didnt find any words to say, so Per talked me in. After a while I got a "yes" from Bettina, and my ski carrier started. I did okey in the comp, almost to the finals. But it was enough to impress some sponsors. And my friend Per won the hole comp. Thats a moment I will remember for the rest of my life, it was a big thing for me. In 2011 it was Freeride World Tour in Røldal, where my good friend Dennis Risvoll won. Røldal Freeride Challenge is the biggest, toughest, scaryest competition in Norway. Only the best skiers in norway come there. And this year it was a blast, but the competition day started with some drama. The helicopter with some safty crew crashed not far away from the comp-face. Me and some other skiers skied down to the crash scene. And it looked very bad, so I prepared my self for the worst scenario, here is dead people. But one after one climbed out from the helicopter by them self. They all survived, it was only a cut in a finger, and a nose bleeding. They where very lucky. And then Røldal Freeride Challenge 2013 started. It was many good lines, but moust of the riders fell. The snow was very slushy, maybe too slushy, so it was meny tomahawks that day. I started almost last, and I went for a big cliff with some scetchy exit and landing, but it was a show for the 2-3000 spectators.

In august 14, I will get my shoulder fixed, so 2-3 months of training I will be back on ski and shred harder! This winter have been fun!!

Now is the exames at school. That is boring!!

Zermatt, Suisse - 5 Février 2013 -La SWATCH SKIERS CUP débute ce dimanche à Zermatt, en Suisse!

Le huitième et dernier rider de chaque équipe vient d'être annoncé. La capitaine du Team Americas Cody Townsenda sélectionné un skieur très polyvalent et talentueux, originaire de de Squaw Valley, USA, Greg Lindsey. Le capitaine du Team Europe, Kaj Zackrissona choisi le chamoniard Sam Favret, récent vainqueur du Linecatcher.

Au niveau de la logistique, Julien Regniera été engagé comme "shaper" (contructeur des sauts) pour la discipline du Backcountry Slopestyle. Il jugera également l'événement en compagnie de Ben Murphy(AUS) et Mike Rogge(USA). Membre du SWATCH Proteam, et rider sur le Freeride World Tour, le local de Zermatt, Samuel Anthamattenagira en tant que chef guide de l'événement. Il sera responsable de sélectionner les faces pour la competition de Freeride, d'assurer la sécurité, et de garantir aux riders la meilleure neige et le meilleur terrain que Zermatt puisse offrir.

Une émission de type "talk show" sera mise en ligne tous les jours, du 10 au 15 février, sur le site de l'évènement. Rendez-vous donc sur le site de la SWATCH SKIERS CUP www.swatchskierscup.com pour suivre le duel de plus près!

Doublé Rossignol au Red Bull Linecatcher

Après deux jours d’attente pour cause de mauvaises conditions météo, les 20 meilleurs riders de la planète ont fait le show aux Arcs mercredi pour l’édition 2013 du Red Bull Linecatcher.

Nos athlètes, Parker et Sam ont trusté les deux premières places du podium à l’issu du verdict délivré au meilleur des 3 runs. Sam à ridé la face avec son style chamoniard enchaînant tricks techniques, gros ski et un 3.6 naturel sorti de nul part. Parker à quand à lui démontré avec son style bien à lui qu’il s’exporte de mieux en mieux en dehors des parks. Rappelons que Parker a gagné l’award de la meilleure performance masculine lors de l’IF3 de Montréal en Septembre dernier.

Lors de cette 5ième édition, l’ensemble des riders ont pu s’exprimer sur cette face très joueuse dans des conditions optimum. 50cm de neige fraîche, un grand ciel bleu et des kickers parfaitement shapés.

Me and my friend Helge came down here for 2 weeks ago. In the beginning it was raining here in Hochfûgen, so we had to rethink where to stay. So I called some friends who where staying in Chamonix, and they said it was the same condition there, and it seems to be like that all over the Alps. So we agreed to stay here in Hochfûgen, and I am glad we did so. It came out to be quite amazing here. The snow was dumping in the night, and the sun came up in the day. The first days was a little bit scetchy, we trigged avalanches, so we didnt ski the big lines, safty first! But after a while the snow become stabil. Me and Helge had some amazing big mountain skiing, and powder turns. This place is a freerider mecca for sure. We had the first week our self, and then more and more good friends from Norway/Sogndal came.

I actually dislocated my shoulder in a stupid fall. I was skiing a travers and had my alpineshoes loose, and little too much speed in a left turn and poped off a colouir, it was not that high, but it was enough. I have dislocated my shoulder meny times, so 1,5 day of recovery and I was skiing again, am starting to get used to it;)

In about two days we are sadly travelling home to Norway, the money is ended and school is calling, but I hope to come back later. I will ski some freeride comps in Norway, but which comps I will choose am not sure yet.

I have to say, I just love the Rossignol Squads, they are perfect for me!

I have added some pictures. Its snapshots from gopro, but its okey.

An video edit will come later, I had some problems with the gopro, the micro SD card got fucked, so the best lines is not there, but I have something. Maybe gopro edits is starting to get a little bit boring, everyone is doing it, but I like it:)
