Questions just for the Rider
1) What was the best moment of the past season ? Why ?
The best moment was in December when we received heavy snow fall. This was the beginning of the season and I spent bunch of sessions to ride in the forest to until my leg hurt too much. I again reached the point where riding became instinct. What is very satisfying too is to have a look back on the past season and to realize my evolution, how I improved my riding, one step after another…
2) What did you learn from getting caught by this avalanche? Was it a kind of a warning ? Warning is a weak word for the mountain that fell on my face. That’s the best thing that could have happened. It will be tough to feel 200% confident again on top of steep lines but with times and humility I know I will be feeling good again on top of lines. I will try to be more focus on the surroundings and take a bit more time when we shoot big mountain riding. This is the only way to feel the mountain better, evaluate the risks and appreciate pleasure from big mountain riding.
3) What are your projects for the upcoming season ?
I will keep following the same path and hopefully keep progressing. I feel very good on my board and I’m willing to show that and get sick footage. I’d like to get involve in a big video production company such a standard, I will compete on the FWT. I got few nice travels in mind : first one will be in antartica this fall, we’ll be on the boat and will get to ride glacier that fall down in fjords in the middle of penguin and whales…it will be wicked!
