I-BOX RACING PLATE

The I-Box was developed by our World Cup racers to harness the power of the new ski constructions. The I-Box plate combines a rigid I-beam center piece, allowing minimal torsion in the power zone under the foot. Two external lifters allow the ski to flex at the extremities, torsionally adapting to the terrain.

RECTANGULAR SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION

Sandwich construction with vertical sidewalls.
Different types of sidewalls and laminate materials can be used to change or alter the behavior of the ski. This gives the Rossignol technicians the ability to change or adapt the skis behavior on an on-going process, thus making the worlds fastest skis.
Race-proven construction of wood core, fiberglass, and metal laminate lay-ups with vertical sidewalls provide optimum racing flex patterns.

SLANT NOSE

A new slalom ski with innovative tip. What makes it so effective ?
Its design allows for a 20% reduction in its weight and surface. Less swing weight on the nose – make it more responsive, tolerant but quicker edge to edge. Asymmetrical tips : skis can “slide” easily, making it very lively.
