XV MAGTEK SPLIT + SPLIT KIT

The all-new XV MAGTEK SPLIT is Xavier de le Rue's big-mountain splitboard, designed for accessing the boldest, most remote lines. AmpTek All-Mountain combines traditional camber between the inserts with moderate tip and tail rocker for increased stability, versatility and float. Magne-Traction 7M delivers continuous tip-to-tail edge hold, enhancing control in the gnarliest conditions. Super-stiff up front, the XV drives through the most challenging snow, with a nimble, washier tail for maneuvering tight spots. With CBF², the XV flows smooth edge-to-edge and delivers incredible power, helping Xav push the boundaries of big-mountain riding.
Split Kit includes: Voile Hooks and Locks, Voile Universal Splitboard Interface, Voile Splitboard Crampons, Voile Splitboard Climbing Skins, and telescopic poles.

Choose your size

Generally, a snowboard is chosen according to a rider’s weight, ability and riding style. A shorter snowboard will be more manageable and easier to maneuver – great for beginners, lighterweight, or more freestyle-oriented riders. A longer snowboard will be faster and more stable – great for heavier, more advanced, or aggressive freeriders.

For more freestyle-oriented performance: size between your shoulder and chin.

For more freeride-oriented performance: size between your chin and nose or above.

Comments about Rossignol XV MAGTEK SPLIT + SPLIT KIT:

Best split board i've ever ridden.. Period
Makes the big lines easy to access, and then makes them seem small. This board handles everything with power and precision. And for the price,... you can't beat it.

Comments about Rossignol XV MAGTEK SPLIT + SPLIT KIT:

The XV Split surprised the hell out of me in the best way possible. I have used a lot of split boards in the past from a junker that i cut my self to various professionally pressed boards. The XV blew me away when i snapped it together and made some turns for the first time. It was stiff and still maintained a good bit of pop... something that i have found lacking in other splits. It was also pretty lightweight. The only downside to the board is that it only comes in a 167. I am an average sized guy and would generally choose to ride something a little smaller but it was not a concern when it came to weight. Over all this is one of the best split boards i have ridden.
