Brynild VULIN tells us his last trip in the Pyrenees:
"I left for a week in the Western Pyrenees with Bruno Rivoire, Gaby Bessy, Valerian Ducourtil, cameraman Manuel Vivion.
We joined the local photographer, organizer of the week, and completely mad Nikopel, as well as other sick local of the stage and team mate Dimitri Biau. We have been treated like kings in his grandfather house, close to Luz Saint Sauveur in the Toy Valley.
Nikopel had a plan for us, so we go ride in Gavarnie Station at the foot of the famous circus of the same name, listed as a Unesco world heritage site, to give an idea of the class of the spot!
Gavarnie is a small resort with a parking, a bar, customers who don’t leave tracks, few lifts and a breathtaking ski area. Result: SICK TRIP!!!
It was blowing up cliffs, we shaped a backcountry step up with the machine on a dome, to ride a free ride line which goes down into the circus, etc...
I was going to say it has stripped the spot, but on the one hand it would be a little pretentious and more, seeing the number of spot should be a few weeks to overcome it... We finished this crazy week with egg output at the Pic du Midi on the Tourmalet, and again, SICK TRIP!!! It is such an incredible place that it deserves a few weeks, few seasons, or even few lives, to give it what it deserves! "
