SLAT

The all-new, athlete-approved Slat is a competition-level slopestyle ski that smears the line between skiing powder and park. Auto Turn Rocker and Extended Sidecut combine for playful maneuverability, full-length edge grip and effortless speed control. Traditional camber underfoot provides confident stability combined with increased pop and shock absorption for sending and stomping the biggest park and urban hits. Whether competing in the park, attacking the urban landscape, or slashing first-tracks, the Slat is the new do-it-all ski for do-it-all athletes like Parker White and Chris Logan.

    Comments about Rossignol SLAT:

I use this as my everyday resort ski in Jackson Hole. I think this is a great ski. I have taken it through everything but the deepest powder and it performs very well. Trees, jumping, riding switch, steeps, ripping a groomer or two. At higher speeds they get a little tip flap but that is to be expected with rocker. I think the price for quality beats many of the more expensive skis out on the market.

I didn't comment on how these skis ride in the powder since the deepest I have taken them is about 6 inches of pow at the resort.

I would recommend this ski for anyone who is mainly skiing resorts, wants to ski the entire mountain, and perhaps a little park action in the day.

    Great job Rossi.

I ski the 181 with a Rossi FKS 14 binding mounted 1cm toward center from recommended mounting notch.
