Think its time to send a new update.

I have skied some competitions here in Norway. Actually they all went bad for me. Did some stupid falls, and my shoulder popped out, so I could`nt ski the rest of the lines. But is one competition I want to say something about, its Røldal Freeride Challenge. Røldal Freeride Challenge was my first Freeride competition back in 2004, I was 16 years old. It was Per Mundhjeld who I looked up to as a skier who got me to the freeride comp. I was to young to compete, so I had to talk to the head-chief of the comp Bettina Gavoll Hansen. She was very hot, so I didnt find any words to say, so Per talked me in. After a while I got a "yes" from Bettina, and my ski carrier started. I did okey in the comp, almost to the finals. But it was enough to impress some sponsors. And my friend Per won the hole comp. Thats a moment I will remember for the rest of my life, it was a big thing for me. In 2011 it was Freeride World Tour in Røldal, where my good friend Dennis Risvoll won. Røldal Freeride Challenge is the biggest, toughest, scaryest competition in Norway. Only the best skiers in norway come there. And this year it was a blast, but the competition day started with some drama. The helicopter with some safty crew crashed not far away from the comp-face. Me and some other skiers skied down to the crash scene. And it looked very bad, so I prepared my self for the worst scenario, here is dead people. But one after one climbed out from the helicopter by them self. They all survived, it was only a cut in a finger, and a nose bleeding. They where very lucky. And then Røldal Freeride Challenge 2013 started. It was many good lines, but moust of the riders fell. The snow was very slushy, maybe too slushy, so it was meny tomahawks that day. I started almost last, and I went for a big cliff with some scetchy exit and landing, but it was a show for the 2-3000 spectators.

In august 14, I will get my shoulder fixed, so 2-3 months of training I will be back on ski and shred harder! This winter have been fun!!

Now is the exames at school. That is boring!!

 Rossignol rules:)

 See yaaa!!

 Day 4
It is the final day of the 2013 Mike and Manny Cowboy's ski camp. The skies opened up for us on Whistler Mountain, the condition cooperated and we set a challenging day of GS training for our racers. This resulted in some awesome turns and a few good spills and a lot of smiles at the bottom of the course. Each year Manny and I come away feeling more rejuvenated and inspired to grow for the future. Not only with this camp but also extending our reach to underprivileged youth through the sport of skiing with the newly formed Mike and Manny foundation. www.mikeandmanny.org

I hope you enjoy our last video edit for 2013 and thank you everyone for your kind notes in response to our videos to date.

Cross-Country: the summary of the season

It’s a very nice season for the Team Rossignol in Cross Country with 36 podiums (individual and team) in World Cup. The victory of Alexander Legkov during the Tour de Ski, the two gold medals of Nikita Kriukov in Val di Fiemme World Championships and the places of honour of Ida Ingemarsdotter, relive all the best moments of this winter!

 *Legkov, man of the year
At 29 years-old, Alexander Legkov has won this season his first Tour de Ski ahead of Dario Cologna (SUI) and Maxim Vylegzhanin (RUS). The Russian of the Team Rossignol has realized a huge performance. He counts also 5 podiums in World Cup including a mythic victory in Oslo’s 50km. In Val di Fiemme World Championships, he has taken a bronze medal in men relay. His exceptional engagement had been rewarded by the small crystal globe of sprint and the second place of the overall World Cup standing behind Petter Northug (NOR) and ahead of Dario Cologna (SUI).

 *Good World Championships
7 medals including 3 titles of World Champion, Team Rossignol has honoured Val di Fiemme World Championships in Italia. Nikita Kriukov (RUS) became Sprint Classic World Champion and with his teammate Alexey Petukhov he has taken gold in the Team Sprint. The Russian finishes third of the overall World Cup standing behind Emil Joensson et Peter Northug.

Eldar Roenning (NOR) has win the gold in the men relay with Norway. He ends well the season signing a victory in the 15km C in Falun.

For the ladies, Ida Ingemarsdotter comes back in Sweden with three silver medals in Sprint, Team Sprint and in women relay.

Rossignol congratulates its athletes for these results and wishes them a nice summer season and a good preparation for Sochi 2014.
