Comments about Rossignol PURSUIT 16 TI BASALT TPX:
Bought these based purely on reviews and tech specs and - well what can I say - absolutely amazing!! I ski a lot in Scotland where the conditions are changeable to say the least. These skis are so adaptable it is amazing. They want to go all the time and hold a line like nothing I've used before. I'm quite tall and light (5'10 176cm 148lbs 68kgs) as a previous reviewer said the shop I bought them from thought they wouldn't work for me but if you ski aggressively, as I do, they work an absolute treat, the power out of the turns is fantastic. Only downside is the Missus is a complete beginner and you have to work to hold these back (on the turn, on the flat they hold up a bit), but it's worth it. Just started a week in France, alpe d'huez, had a big dump last night and they are no good (for me) in powder more than boot deep. Might float a bit more with speed I'm going to try tomorrow but might go horribly wrong. The shape wouldn't suggest a good powder ski but I was hoping with the 10% rocker I'd be able to do a bit.
If you are looking for a good power turning ski which will handle different conditions and techniques this is a belter. I've skied ice, packed, groomed, crud, and shallow powder with ease. They will push you harder than you push them!

Comments about Rossignol PURSUIT 16 TI BASALT TPX:
I bought these skis on the advice of a friend who is also in the ski equipment business. I wanted an all mountain ski, but an easy turning one and particularly one that can carve on hardpack or ice. (I ski at Blue Knob, which has plenty of both--but also the best skiing in the state) I love them. They turn beautifully and hold an edge like nothing I've ever skied on. I liked them from the start and they only get better. They are great on all kinds of terrain.

Comments about Rossignol PURSUIT 16 TI BASALT TPX:
I tried these skis at the Georgian peeks in ontario, and I absolutely loved them, as myself I and not very heavy for my height and I was told that these skis would be to stiff for me but once I got on them it was a completely new experience for me considering I was skiing on atomic race 8 and had never skied on a ski as versatile and as hi quality as this one. I found that these skiis held and edge at high speeds no matter if you hit a bump or a patch of ice and yet it was extremely easy to play around in the moguls as well as powder. Since i only demoed these skiis, and have a ski trip un utah this march brake i am just itching to try these skiis on a big mountain and in 2-3 feet of powder. Over all These skiis were the best skiis I have ever skied on
