*The run
By taking the bronze medal, the French racers Robin Duvillard and Ivan Perillat-Boiteux from Team Rossignol offered to France its 100th Olympic medal. This is a beautiful award for this relay in a race dominated by Sweden and Russia at home.
*The quote of the champion
Robin Duvillard (FRA): "In my relay, I have never thought really of people behind, my purpose was to hang on Alexander Legkov. We had decided that it was necessary to make something for Ivan, the last relay runner. On Maurice Manificat's initiative, the coaches told him that if it was a failure, everything would not be of his fault. We were all tightened, we bubbled inside. "
*The number: 1
This medal is historic for France! It is the first time that a team wins a medal in relay, it’s a huge performance for the cross-country in France.
