Today was the Open pipe qualifier of the Winter Dew Tour. 3 french at the start : Jon, Nico and me.
Nico fall on his both run on his dub flair, so bad, he had it good during the training. He can be proud of him, his right side dub was sick !
Jon fall on a sw 7 and had trouble with his knee, he may broke his ACL. We're not sure yet, but if he did, I can truly say that it sucks, I had it 2 years ago.
For me, the day starts well, I felt ready, so warm to shred. Until I hurt the deck, fall down at the bottom of the pipe and broke my helmet...
Here it is, the comp start. Thomas Krief give me his helmet for my both run, so nice. First run, I land my sw 7 jap at the top and I get to much speed and I did a huge flat spin 5 jap (maybe to high and my pop wasn't big enough) get the deck once again !
Second run, I was suppose to have lot of pressure, but I just relaxed, and thinking that this is not a big deal. I landed all my tricks, stomped the last one and then so content ! All bad thought waste appart and I felt so free !

First comp today, Grand Prix qualifier day. It was not a good session for all the french guys.
We all fell on our runs. To summary my morning, I let you check this clip.
This is what happened on my first run. I was so disappointed of what I did, I just missed my pop and I crashed so badly on the coping, I did my second run, but I had so much pain in my back, I couldn't do what I wanted to do.
I'll take my revange at the Dew Tour, I'll train and change my run. I need at least one dub in my run to do something very good.

Last day of training was not that perfect. I made some runs, but not the one that I want to do.
But no worries, I suck at every trainings. The comp is another thing.
It's also a good thing to suck trainings, it makes me even more hungry. When you have all you want at training, you feel maybe to good at the comp and then you just forget to be focus at the right moment.
We get the start list. There is 3 heats, they take 3 guys on every heat for the final and we are 24 per heat.
I got a hard one, you can see below the whole list, but I can told you some good names.
Simon Dumont, Matt Margetts, David Wize, Gus Kenworthy, Xavier Bertoni...
It will not be that easy, but I can make it if I stay focus on the amplitude and the steeze.
We set out with an objective to play in the Spearhead Range, but as the clouds rolled in our interests in whiteout navigation seemed to be...
