After training for days at Copper Mtn Halfpipe, Xavier Bertoni and Kevin Rolland competed at the first stop of the Dew Tour in Breckenridge. The best halpipe skiers were in town which guaranted an amazing contest.
Both Rossignol riders are riding the Superpipe in order to get
used to it.
Kevin fell on his first run on a double cork twelve and placed at the bottom of the ranking. With only one run left, the pressure is intense. Kevin stayed focused and managed to land a run that put him on the third step of the podium.
On the other hand, Xavier had some trouble landing his double on his first hit because of the shape of the pipe. Next time it won’t be the same! He ended on the 8th spot.
Next stop World Cup in Austria and in three days we’ll be back in France to train in Tignes Superpipe.
Happy Holidays to all of you.
