Sweden’s Jessica Lindell Vikarby has taken the second place of the Giant Slalom in Lienz (AUT), win by Anna Fenninger. She was on the lead after the first run for only 0.02 but the racer from Rossignol Team didn’t manage to be fastest than Austrian’s racer and ended for 0.01 ahead of the young Mikaela Shiffrin. She claimed her third podium this season and kept her red bib of GS World Cup leader with 332 points ahead of her Rossi’s teammate Maria Pietilae-Holmner (222 points).
“I am glad to be on the podium and to keep the giant slalom red bib. In Val d'Isère I finished 6th and was a bit frustrated with myself because of the mistakes I made. Today was different, I am very happy.” (Fis Alpine)
