Luitz loves Val d'Isère

Luitz loves Val d'Isère

Riders in this news :  Stefan LUITZ

On the Face de Bellevarde slope, Marcel Hirscher was the strongest ahead of Thomas Fanara and the racer from Rossignol Team, Stefan Luitz. Last year, he had signed in the Val d’Isère the first podium of his young career, a second place. Born in 1992, Stefan Luitz is a very talented skier. After a knee injury in February, he found his best level with this second career podium.
I injured my ACL in February and I am grateful for all those who helped me get back on skis. It is almost incredible that 10 months later I could be on the podium again. Last year I just ski my best starting from the back and earned a podium, but this year I was second after the second run so it was a new situation for me. Waiting on the start, being one of the last guys is a new experience for me and I had to adapt to it. But this type of adaptation is sure a good one and I am glad my nerves didn’t get the better of me.
