Riders in this news : Henrik KRISTOFFERSEN
Henrik Kristoffersen has signed his first career victory in World Cup! He has won the night slalom in Schladming ahead of two “slalom monsters” Marcel Hirscher (+0.18) and Felix Neureuther (+0.19) in front of 45 000 fans. At only 19 years-old, the racer from Rossignol Team is the youngest guy who has taken the first place in the Planai, the Austrian slope. It’s only the 23rd World Cup of the Norwegian and he already counts four podiums this season: 3rd place in Levi and Adelboden, 2nd place in Kitzbühel and this amazing victory in Schladming.
“I think I realize what’s going on but it’s kind of hard to say right away. But I know it’s real, it’s just won my first World Cup race! I didn’t expect to happen so fast. I was hoping for it but it’s all still new to me. Last year my best place was an 11th place, it was my first season World Cup and I seem to be taking big steps. This is also my first night slalom and I hope this is just the beginning of great thing to come.” (Quote: Fis alpine)
He is now sharing the second place of the slalom World Cup standing with Felix Neureuther. Congratulations to our HERO Henrik Kristoffersen!
