Swedish’s Magdalena Fjaellstroem has won the slalom in the Junior World Championships. Behind her, Rossignol’s racers had done a good job with 4 girls in the Top 5! Michelle Gisin takes the silver medal: ”It’s incredible, I don’t believe it! I do a nice season but I didn’t expect a world title. It was my only day of racing in these World Championships, so I’m very happy.” Adeline Baud finishes third and grabs the bronze medal: “I’m very happy. Slalom is not my discipline so it’s a nice surprise for me. My discipline is the Giant Slalom. Tomorrow, I want the gold medal.”Petra Vhlova ends 4th and Nathalie Eklund 5th.

Lisa-Maria Zeller (AUT) becomes World Champion. Romane Miradoli from Team Dynastar is third. Adeline Baud (Rossignol) from France is just off the podium in 4th position.
“I’m very happy! I wanted to be on the first step of the podium but I’m satisfied! I take part to all the races in these World Championships and I want to go up the podium again. It’s my last year in junior category. Next year, I would like to be more on the World Cup circuit than in the Europa Cup” explains Ragnhild Mowinckel after the race.
