In Giant Slalom, Federica Brignone, silver medalist in the Garmisch World Championships 2011 and Tessa Worley, bronze medalist will be our top athletes during the World Championships in Schladming next February. Irène Curtoni, Anémone Marmottan or Manuela Moelgg will be competing on with the new GS skis imposed by the International Federation.
In Slalom, many of Team Rossignol’s women (with 7 in the top 20) are able to make the podium. Frida Hansdotter, Marie-Michèle Gagnon, Marie Pietilae-Holmner, Erin Mielzynski found success last winter and they are very enthusiastic for next season.
In Downhill and Super G, Marion Rolland who claimed her first two World Cup podiums in Schladming last March, will be a force to be reckoned with. Marie Marchand-Arvier, Lara Gut, Jessica Lindell-Virkarby or Americans Stacey Cook and Leanne Smith will also be on the attack.
In speed disciplines, Christof Innerhofer, triple medallist in the Garmisch World Championships 2011, Jan Hudec, Didier Défago, Silvan Zurbriggen or Matteo Marsaglia will defend Rossignol’s colors. In slalom Mike Janyk, Axel Baeck, Brad Spence will all be on the hunt.
