Amptek is a revolutionary camber shape by Rossignol. The Amptek camber profile has an early rise tip and tail with traditional camber underfoot. The early rise provides incredible floatation and turn capability in powder, crud and manky snow. Traditional camber underfoot gives you amazing versatility and mind blowing edge hold on groomed snow. The end result is the ultimate combination of a slashyand- buttery feel in the powder and precision on hardpack snow.

REVERSE SIDECUT

The most revolutionary powder twin tip to hit the backcountry.
From the top view the tip is a spatula pin shaped and moves into a perfectly straight sidecut in front of the toe piece.
Directly under the foot you have a deep style sidecut of 18m
Behind the heel piece the ski goes flat again and the tail is a true pin tail shape.
From the side view you have traditional camber directly under the foot and powder loving reverse camber out by the tip and tail. The fore body and back sections were the sidecut is flat the camber is completely flat for superior floatation. Powder skiing has never been so easy and epic. Construction developed especially for ultra wide skis (>110mm). Resistant yet light, this construction type gives smooth ski-to-snow contact, great stability at high speeds and for landing, and also great pop.
The flex is just right for powder. The ABS 30° sidewalls give precision and reduce swing weight making rotation easier.
