Marie-Laure Brunet on the podium of the Sprint!

After her bronze medal in Pursuit at the Olympic Games in Vancouver, the French skier confirmed her place among the best signing, last Thursday, a podium on the World cup tour. Indeed, the youngest girl of the French group finished 2nd in the last Sprint of the season! A great race on the 7,5 km’s race where Marie-Laure carried out a perfect shooting (0 fault) and clocked one of the best time in ski!
Deprived of a first victory by the Russian Romanova, Marie-Laure remains satisfied with her season. "I took risks, I tried to give it all, I stayed well. A podium is good even if I am a little bit disappointed inevitably (compared to Romanova’s win for 10" 9), I started to believe in it! Despite everything, my goal this season was to have personal best. To do this today is great. I hope that the success that I had this season will continue next year.”
On the whole, our Rossignol athletes sign this year 13 individual podiums including 3 victories in the World Cup (note that the Olympic medals in Biathlon count for the World cup).
And Martin Fourcade takes the Globe of the Pursuit!

Nikita Kriukov wins the Sprint in Stockholm!
Tobias Angerer takes 2nd place in the Pursuit at Falun!
After the alpine skiers, the cross-country skiers disputed this weekend in Sweden the last 2010 World Cup competitions.
A great end of season for our champions illustrated by the victory of Nikita Kriukov in Sprint and the 2nd place of Tobias Angerer in Pursuit.
Indeed, last Wednesday in Stockholm, Russian Nikita Kriukov signed his 4th podium and his first victory of the season on the World cup, winning the Sprint event. He thus confirms his Olympic Champion title of the discipline!
On Saturday, this is German Tobias Angerer who finished 2nd in the Pursuit after 10 km in classical technique and 10 km in skating.
On the whole, the team Rossignol carried out 22 individual podiums including 2 victories on the World Cup!
With 13% of the podiums, Rossignol is 2nd in the manufacturers ranking!

The French champion wins the Globe of the Pursuit!
An exceptional end of season for the young French biathlete who, after his victory in Pursuit last week in Kontiolahti, kept up the good work this weekend in Oslo by signing two new successes in Sprint and Pursuit.
This is thus three consecutive victories that the 21 year-old champion carried out these last two weeks! A great performance for Martin who showed an impressive effectiveness on his skis… Indeed, in spite of 3 penalty loops on Saturday in the Pursuit, he crossed the finish line with an advance of 9 seconds on his competitors and thus seizes the Crystal Globe of the discipline!
